To Be Continued - Originally shared June 7, 2009. Particularly poignant because of the recent airing of the finale of LOST, this message addresses the problem of “cliff-hanger Christianity,” where too many people are just waiting in their La-Z-Boy pew waiting for the dramatic finale, rather than living the faith that God determined is to be continued.
If you want to live a faith that is life-changing and eternity-impacting, consider the heart of this message and take the actions that will continue your faith in the lives of others.
Prepare to be Amazed!
In an age where everything claims to be amazing and few things actually are, God makes the bold command for you to prepare to be amazed.
Unlike the everyday promise that asks you to just sit and wait for something spectacular, God’s command is one that says there are real, important things you can do to actually prepare to experience the amazing blessings and promises that God has prepared specifically for you.
God is still very much in the business of amazing. Be encouraged that if you are committed to the disciplines of preparation, you can live daily in the expectation that God will reveal amazing things to you and God will lead you to experience an amazing life of faith each and every day!
